Keeping up with the Janes

I had a conversation with a friend recently who has been suffering from a broken heart. I reminded him, as I reminded myself that when we put our energy into those who give us little to nothing back, we not only risk hurting ourselves, we also risk the opportunity to be surrounded by those who truly love and support us. If you are questioning the behavior and motives of people you are in relationships with, you are friends with, or you work with, remember that just because we love someone and want to be included in their life, does not always mean they feel the same way or that they want to reciprocate. Actions speak louder than words. Know your worth and be someone people can count on <3
